This dress is based off an image of a Christian Dior gown from the late 1940s. The bodice is an adapted 2 dart style with a dolman sleeve, fitted tightly to the body. The skirt is in five pieces and rounded, fitted over a petticoat and a hip shaper (the hip shaper was made by Kay McGuire). The look is finished with a belt at the waist.
